Normally, you'll get an email and/or text message (provided you signed up for these options) within 48 hours after e-filing your tax return.
Your email provider or the filter on your email program may be blocking our emails.
- Look for the email in your spam or junk folder.
- You can also try adding firstname.lastname@example.org to your Safe Senders list.
You may have accidentally entered the wrong email address or phone number in TurboTax.
- If that email or number doesn't exist, it doesn't go anywhere.
- If that email or number belongs to a stranger, they'll get your status updates instead. (Don't worry – the only personally identifiable information in the message is the taxpayer's first name, like "Bob" or "Susan." No other info, including dollar amounts, is in the message).
